According to the new EMC Regulation , the product is first subjected to dissemination and immunity tests according to its harmonized standards. Afterwards, technical files are prepared according to other regulations (such as LVD Regulation )
. Finally, the Declaration of Conformity should be prepared and CE marking

The technical file must contain the following:

  • General description and description of the product
  • Drawings showing the technical specifications of the product
  • Description of the technical drawings and product
  • List of harmonized test standards applied
  • Test reports

The manufacturer shall maintain the technical file and the declaration of conformity for a period of 10 years from the date of placing the product on the market.
In case of any non-compliance with the relevant regulations, the producer may be
fined and warned about the product
The possible nonconformities in the new EMC Regulation are listed below:

  • Not using the CE marking as described in the regulation,
  • Lack of CE marking,
  • Lack of Declaration of Conformity,
  • Incomplete or incorrect preparation of the Declaration of Conformity,
  • Technical File is missing or not prepared at all,
  • The product, the package or the product does not have a manufacturer’s open address on a document.
